Oracle AI World opens in Las Vegas this weekend, and most of the agent conversation will be about Fusion. That makes sense. Oracle has put real work into Fusion’s agentic applications this year, introduced some awesome innovation (everyone should get their hands on Fusion Claw and try it out) and the governed execution model it introduced in September is serious engineering.
But a very large part of Oracle’s finance installed base doesn’t run Fusion yet. It still runs E-Business Suite 12.2. And in March, Oracle extended Premier Support for EBS 12.2 through at least 2037.
Read that as a CFO or a CIO. Your ERP is supported for more than another decade. Yet every AI conversation you sit through implies that agents live on the other side of a migration you may not do for years.
They don’t have to.
